The 4th Year of the Rise to the Pinnacle Cycle
After a few years of things feeling harsh, or even a bit crazy, you now get to ‘come out of the cave’ that the last 2 years had you in and step UP.
Now, you’re displacing the 8♦.
This spot on the Earth spread is called the Sun Spot.
It is like stepping into a spotlight and being given some special powers. The 8 cards are about power and authority. It’s like having the reins of a powerful horse in your hands and you get to decide where you’ll go and how fast.
The 8♦ is specifically about financial power.
People hear that and cheer!
It’s bout damn time!
But, truth be told, that kind of power plays with our minds – unless we know exactly what we want.
The caveat for any of the power of the 8 cards is to be really clear about what you want. You are seeing what it feels like to have this power, but it is energy that has to have somewhere to go. It needs a focus.
I want to break this card down a bit:
The 8♦ focuses its power to manifest what it values.
It sits in the Sun/Crown line right in the center, at the Sun & Jupiter. This gives it a LOT of powerful energy that is optimistic, enthusiastic and confident. This card LOVES recognition and fame!
It wants to have all life can offer and has a zest for life.
You are STEPPING into this energy. You are feeling what it is like, understanding it, learning to embrace it.
The prior years were preparing you for this – not everyone is comfortable with this type of energy.
It is showing you that you can manifest the resources needed to achieve your goals.
The key is for the goal to match your values or a Value you hold high.
This is why you went through a year of being challenged in what you believe in, where your mindset is, what your attitude is, because WHAT you believe in and value is what will manifest.
And if what you TRULY value and what you are trying to manifest is on two different pages or not at the same vibration – what happens?
You will manifest what you value.
Some examples of this are –
I value my time alone (but I wish I had a partner)
I value my privacy and don’t want to be known as the wealthy one and have to deal with everyone coming to me for money (but wish I was financially independent).
I value not upsetting my parents and their desire for me to continue my education and get my PhD (but I wish I was an entrepreneur and had my own business).
What we value must match what we want.
What will you do now?
Over the years, I’ve found this placement to do interesting things to people.
They either LOVE being in the spotlight, being paid attention to, being seen, recognized and even feeling a sense of power and control in their lives….or….
They don’t like that feeling at all and they decide that the cave felt better.
This is the placement of being at the top of the Pinnacle. It is a high point for you because you can understand what it is like to have the power to manifest what you value.
And that power helps you go off in a new direction; evolve to a new you.
For some, this sudden shift in who they thought they were or realization of what they truly want in life can end a career, a marriage/relationship or seem like a failure in some way because it throws them onto a new path in life. If you feel you have to stay on the same path your whole life, you might fight against it or see it as a failure.
Your pinnacle year is transformative – even if it feels negative (because the person is unaware of what is actually going on.)
–In my 6♣ Pinnacle year, I became the manager of a Native American Art gallery and got back into my spiritual roots of Earth based/Native spirituality. I was working at a Ski shop and didn’t love my job. I ‘valued’ working in an environment where I could learn, be surrounded by things, art and topics that resonated with me (such as Native American spirituality). I wanted my work each day to mean something, not just sell ski fashion.
–In my 8♥ Pinnacle year, I was no longer the “Preacher’s Kid” and was studying metaphysics and daydreaming about living near the A.R.E so I could study there.
Now that one has reached the Pinnacle and is launched into a new life – what happens?
There is another year that is very important as it helps get us ready for the last year of this cycle – called the Wish Fulfillment Year.
