Suicide – is it in the cards?

I decided to tackle a delicate topic for my article.

Suicide.

The topic has been all around us recently with the deaths of Anthony Bourdain, Kate Spade and the new season of 13 Reasons Why airing – which has schools addressing the topic with parents.

It has also been a real issue in my past. I attempted it several times (unsuccessfully, thankfully).

With regards to the cards, many ask: Can you predict this with someone’s forecast?

Can you predict death with a forecast?

First, I want to say that some readers are good at predictions. It is a gift. Personally, I don’t like giving predictions because there are so many variables and I believe that we can change our course in each second of our life.

But upon looking at Anthony’s current forecast, there are indicators.
Before I get into what they are, I also want to say that I did not know him personally and in writing about this, I am not saying I know all the ins and outs of his particular situation. I loved his shows and am saddened by his death.
Robert Camp says that the cards in a forecast at the time of someone’s death reveals what was going on inside them and sometimes even close family/friends don’t know 100% what that person was going through, thinking or creating.

I want to use Anthony’s forecast to highlight what indicators were there.
Anthony was a 5♣ (Birth card) and a 10♠ (Ruling card)
A 5♣ person has the propensity for depression. Why? The 5♣ sits at Mercury and Saturn. They can get caught up in seeing the glass half empty with negative thinking that affects their self-esteem. This is also a conflicting combination because Saturn is traditional/structure/rigid and the 5♣ card is about breaking the rules and thinking outside the box. Because of this and the fact that they have the A♠ as their Venus card (Mercury and Neptune), they can also be addicts. That A♠ means there are secrets in their life – they actually love those secrets and in many ways is their mode of operation in their love life.

While this doesn’t mean they will end in something as tragic as suicide, these folks many times deal with hidden demons.
His Ruling card is the 10♠ which is almost the opposite of the 5♣ in that because it sits at Mercury and Jupiter, it is about big, optimistic thinking. The person is friendly, out-going and into travel, foreign cultures, higher education and philosophy. They also have a tendency to exaggerating, and sometimes over-looking details. (whereas the 5♣ can get very rigid with their painstaking focus on the details.)
Again, this doesn’t mean they will end their own life and I don’t presume to know what he was truly like – but that birthday/card combination isn’t an easy one, and I would imagine even harder if you are in the lime-light.

In his current forecast, under his 10♠ ruling card, his Long range card (the energetic theme for his 61st year) is the 9♠.

The 9♠ card is about an ending in your health and or lifestyle. It is the big completion card. When this card is your Long Range card, something is definitely going to end in your life.

Sometimes it can be that you experience someone close to you dying, but there will be an ending or a series of endings. He was in his Neptune period and he had his Ruling card (the 10♠) there, sitting in the K♣ spot, (which is Uranus and Uranus). The 10♠ in Neptune can point to health issues with drugs or alcohol. The 10♠ card is also called the Workaholic card. When our own card(s) are in our forecast, it puts an emphasis on our own ‘aspects’ that the planet represents. It acts as a mirror, showing us more of ourselves. Neptune is our illusions, our secrets, our fears, our desires.
It is also interesting to note that he had as his Result card in his 7-year forecast, the 9♠. He was in his Uranus year (in his 7-year spread) and he had a 9♠ under his Ruling card. On his birthday, he would’ve gone into his Neptune period (of his 7-year forecast) and there he had an A♠.
The A♠ is another card that can indicate death and is always about a big transformation – it is a death of some part of us, so something new can begin.
He also had as his Pluto card (in his 7-year forecast) the 9♥, meaning his soul’s challenge was in letting go/experiencing the ending of things that mattered to his heart and/or some relationships.

As the Pluto card for a 7-year period (which means it is an over-arching energy along with your yearly energies at play), the 9♥ can be very difficult for many. Letting go of someone or a relationship can be a lifelong issue and some can’t ever truly let go.
Many times you’ll see the 9♥ at play when someone dies because they are ‘ending/saying good-bye’ in their relationships or it can be their only way to fully ‘let go.’
I currently don’t know any 5♣/10♠’s that are in their 61st year, but it is not an easy year for them and if one sat with me for a reading, I’d check in on how they felt about their life.

When we have the tools to use – such as this system that acts as a blueprint- we can work with issues that are challenges and burdens for us. When we can see our loved ones going through a time that is challenging, this system can be a guide to understanding what they might be dealing with.

It was because of Cardology, that I could heal my past and end my struggles with clinical depression and the thoughts of suicide. I literally owe my life to Cardology.
No one really knows what is going on within the depths of someone who turns to suicide. It is such a delicate topic with many implications.

One positive outcome of tragic endings that make national news is we all start openly talking about it. We pay attention and we look deeper at our own issues or someone we love who might be struggling with depression.
For me, my cards shed light on why I struggled and also let me see the dynamics of the relationships in my life that played a big part in my issues. I could take what was very negative and transform it into something very positive. No matter what card(s) we are and what forecast we have, there is always a positive outcome if we so chose.

I am here if you or anyone you know needs to talk – I DO know how it feels to be that low.

The main thing for all of us is to always be willing to reach out FIRST. Sometimes we can’t sit back and wait for someone feeling that low to reach out to us. Check in on all those you love.

How the Cards can Reveal the Energy of Your Soul Contracts

Do you ever wonder why you have the friends you have? We all think we had no choice in who our parents are, but what if we actually chose them?

Do you wonder why you met a specific person? Why did they come into your life?

Have you ever thought about soul contracts? That the people that come into your life are there for a reason? At a non-physical level, you both agreed to assist or work with one another.

We have many soul contracts and  there are many who are co-creators with us as we walk our path. Gratefully, a BIG part of Cardology is a way for us to better understand all of those various relationships that are soul contracts.

First, a tiny bit about soul contracts:

Soul contracts are agreements you are making from the multidimensional aspect of you. This can include the non-physical as well as the physical. It is an agreement between your partner, your family, your friends, a pet, a job, a place that you live, etc. They are contracts you are making in order to share, change, grow, and appreciate the present through variety of experience. Life would be pretty boring if we were truly alone with nothing to prompt evolution!

The “mystical” or confusing soul contracts are usually “larger” and made from the non-physical, which is why they typically feel a little bit like a head-spin. So our advice to you is to use your heart!

I don’t know about you, but sometimes a person will come into my life, cause what feels like unnecessary pain, and I am shouting, WHY!?!
Many times it is confusing as to why certain people behave as they do and we wonder why we are dealing with them at this point in our lives. We struggle with how we can help the situation. (Unless you enjoy relationship drama!)
One of the most popular topics I get with clients when doing readings is about their confusing or painful relationships.

Within the system of the cards is an in-depth formula for better understanding our relationships.

Because it is so in-depth, I can’t  share all the ways the cards can clarify things in a single blog post, but I wanted to share a few basic ways you can see what might be going on between you and another person and why you are in what might seem like a frustrating or confusing relationship.

All you need to check in with this basic formula is two things:

  1. Know the birthday of the other person
  2. Use the Solar spread chart (You can see it below)

If you know anything about the cards, you probably know that we each have a birth card and a ruling card (much like we have an astrological sun sign and a rising sign). If you don’t know anything about the ancient system within the deck of playing cards, learn more here.
You can use the birth chart here on my website to see what your birth card is if you don’t already know.
You’ll want to also see what the birth card is for the person you are wondering about. (You need to know what their birthday is.)

The Solar Spread chart  (also called the Earth Spread) is how the cards are naturally arranged. Below is an image of the Solar /Earth Spread.

Find your birth card in the chart.
First, you want to see what cards are in your birth card spread – these are the cards that comprise the blueprint of you and define your birth card. There are more than 8 cards in this spread, but for the sake of keeping this simple, we will only use 8.
All you need to do is see what the 8 cards are following your birth card.
You do this by finding the card that sits to the left of your birth card and continue going left.
The first card to the left will be your Mercury card, then Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and finally Pluto.

The image below shows what my birth card spread is. I’m a 6♣. I wanted to use my card as an example so you can see what to do if the card you are looking at sits at the bottom of the chart.

The rule for finding your birth card spread is: always go to the left, then drop down to the next row, start on the right side and continue left.

The exception to this is when the card is found on the bottom row. In that case, you’ll go up to the top, start on the right and count left. I’ve circled my birth card and used numbers to show what cards are in my Birth card spread.

I’m only using 8 planets, which goes to Pluto.
Card #1 is Mercury
Card #2 is Venus
Card #3 Is Mars
Card #4 is Jupiter
Card #5 is Saturn
Card #6 is Uranus
Card #7 is Neptune
Card #8 is Pluto

Those cards are my Mercury through Pluto cards.
Next, do this same thing with the birth card of the other person – find their birth card spread.

Now, you’re ready to look at three ways to see what energetic relationships are going on between your card and their card.

1. The first method for seeing what your relationship might be about is to see if the other person “is” one of your birth spread cards.

What do I mean by this? A close friend of mine is a K♠. You can see that my Saturn card is the K♠. This shows me that she will represent my Saturn card. Energetically, she will be very “Saturn” to me and be someone who will be showing me what my Saturn card is about. Remember that the cards represent the people in our lives as well as an energetic pattern. How can we realize what an “energy” is for us, unless we experience it in the physical? The best way for us to do this is by experiencing it through the people we relate to day in and out!

One of the very helpful things about realizing this is that while I will experience her in this way, others in her life won’t. If we have mutual friends, we won’t all experience her this way – they will experience her in whatever energy their relationship is. This is so helpful to know when any drama erupts between a circle of friends!

You will be looking to see if the person you are inquiring about is one of the cards in your spread, or you are one of the cards in their spread.

Now, in the above example between my friend and I – it is only that she is my Saturn – I’m not Saturn to her.  My 6♣ birth card is not in her Birth card spread.
This means she’ll be a certain energy for ME – but she won’t feel that energy FROM me.
This is the first basic thing to look for when you’re checking on another person and what might be going on between you two.

2. The second thing to look for is called the Vertical connection.

I’ll use my daughter as an example. Her birth card is the 9♥.

As you can see from the chart to the right, her Birth card spread is not the same as mine at all – but we do have a connection.

Her card is directly above mine or “vertical” to me.
Since her card is 2 spaces away from mine, that makes her Venus to me. (remember that Mercury is 1, Venus is 2 – so 2 spaces is Venus)
But, it is not the same for her.
Since we only go up when we look at vertical connections, we see from her point of view, if she goes up to the top (K♠), she would then go to the next column to the left, and back down to the bottom (6♠). So, while we have other connections because of our Ruling cards, she doesn’t have anythng ‘vertical’ to me.

This means, to me, her energy is Venus. I will experience Venus with her.

**Below I explain the energy of each planet and what they mean in a relationship.

3. The third thing to look at is if your card and their card has a diagonal connection.

I’ll use my housemate as an example. Her birth card is the 3♣. Looking at the image below, you can see that she sits diagonally from me 2 spaces.
Because it is diagonal, it is mutual. Meaning, I am also Venus to her. So, there is a Venus energy that flows between us. Unlike my other example, we will both experience the Venus energy.  (I’ve been using examples that are all two spaces away…remember, it can be 1 space away , which is Mercury, or 3, which is Mars, or 4 which is Jupiter, etc.)

Once you see what type of relationship your two cards have, you can use the reference below to get a better idea of the type of energy there will be between you and the other person.
Remember that unless the connection is diagonal, the point of view will be different and that alone can affect a relationship!

Note: Many family members or close friends will have a Venus connection – that easy, loving connection. However, that connection can suddenly go very wrong (or have major issues!) Why? I talk about that here because it is another big topic within relationship connections.

*Here is what each planet represents as an energy in a relationship:

  • If the other person is Mercury to you – You will find that you both think and talk in a similar way. You communicate easily and share similar ideas and points of view, or you stimulate one another intellectually and converse well.
  • If the other person is Venus to you – You will love, appreciate and enjoy them. You won’t feel the need to change them, you feel no issues, it is a very loving, easy relationship!
  • If the other person is Mars to you – they will motivate you, give you strength to move forward, or make you angry. If this is a romantic relationship, there will be a lot of passion and heat between you two.
  • If the other person is Jupiter to you – they will be a blessing to you – giving things to you without being asked!  They will support and encourage you. You are very compatible.
  • If the other person is Saturn to you – They will act as a teacher for you and you might not always like it!  They might feel like a burden or make you feel less than because they might always be telling you what you “should or shouldn’t” be doing. But, they can be a great opportunity for you to grow and improve yourself by not taking their criticism personally and instead use it constructively.
  • If the other person is Uranus to you – They will do unexpected things that take you by surprise, and you might feel uncertain with them or their actions and you can’t control them. But there is a deep friendship when you allow them to be who they are and not place any expectations on them.
  • If the other person is Neptune to you – you will probably see them through rose-colored glasses and there will be a sense of disillusionment with them. This can be a difficult relationship if you only see them as you think they should be, or it can be very enlightening if you take a step up with this relationship and allow the spiritual essence of it to allow you both to grow. There will be a strong psychic bond between you two.
  • If the other person is Pluto to you – They will be challenging to you and they can help transform you. They can be a reminder of what you want to become, or they can feel like someone who is shining the light on your shortcomings, or wanting to control you. They will do things that brings Pluto energy into your life so you can transform something you need to transform.

There is a low and high/positive and negative to every planetary energy.

A Venus or Jupiter relationship might be someone who has a soul contract to help you, assist you or be the one who delivers the blessings of the Universe to you. If we constantly refuse their gifts to us, we are blocking our blessings and the love that Source is showing us.

A Mars, Saturn or Pluto relationship can feel challenging or hard, and we might think it best to be rid of them, when in fact, if we are aware of what is going on, we can step up and improve our life from what they offer us. (I want to add here that abuse or any dysfunctional relationship that is hurting you is not one to stay in – when I say “challenging”, I’m not referring to abuse.)

Every relationship is an opportunity for us to evolve and experience what we came to experience in this life.

If you feel confused by someone, ask yourself these questions:

  1. Why did I choose to have this relationship?
  2. What would I change about this relationship?
  3. What is awakening within me because of this person?
  4. What about them is just like me?
  5. What about them is something I wish was me?
  6. How do my answers reflect the energy of the planet(s) represented in the relationship between our cards?

What I’ve shared in this post is but a tiny part of what the cards can reveal about our relationships, but even one small “aha” can make all the difference in your life when navigating relationships!

relationships_express_sourceIf you would like to really get to the heart of what is going on between you and someone else in your life, you can always book a session.

Soul contracts are essential to our experience on earth as a human being. Whether easy, fun, hard or challenging, the people in our lives are there for a reason. 🙂

The Four Of Spades – Focus on Your Foundation

Today’s blog post is about the Four of Spades. I’ve included excerpts from a session we did. (italicized below).

Within this new work that I am doing now with Randi (because of what she is channeling), I’ve been asking a lot about the cards and how they can continue to help us as we move into this new way of BEing.

When reading any post about a card, you can take the information and apply it to a card draw when you use the cards for personal divination, or if you have the card in your forecast or birth spread.

“So the Spades are about a focusing of energy, and are about lifestyle, but in this particular instance we as omniscience are so general, so vast, so broad… and that is what you all are coming to understand more and more in this Age of Omniscience – that reality is contingent on a focusing. Otherwise, all things exist at all times, but how does one experience any of that? It’s simply a matter of focus and that is what you all have chosen to do in coming into human lives as these personalities.”

We’ve been ensconced in a linear way of viewing life. We needed to have the construct of “time” in order to make sense of things and to move forward.  Even Albert Einstein taught that time doesn’t exist. albert-einstein-marketingland-600x179

Everything exists at the same time.

What we do when we chose a life, experience, place, journey, personality, purpose, etc., is we focus our energy on a specific thing.

“So the four of spades is about that repeated stabilization of focus in the sense that four tends to be stability, four does tend to be equanimity, or that notion of a square; that notion of a foundational shape which one can build things on.”

The Four of Spades represents our main block of focus on that which sets up the foundation for the life/work/health we desire to have.

fourofspades_foundation

In a birth spread or forecast, when a Four of Spades shows up, it indicates that we will be satisfied and content with our work and health. It is somewhat neutral – a middle of the road- where we feel good and comfy with life.

But, let’s take this a step further-

The Four of Spades is saying: “Hone in your focus, set up your foundation, feel yourself supported by Source.”

Your dedication to building a foundation is supported by your omniscience, by the dedication to your passion. You create a routine, a structure to build upon and a focused frequency for your goal.

The Four of Spades sits at Jupiter & Venus – two very prosperous planets.

You can’t manifest your desires if you constantly change your mind and don’t stay focused long enough to allow your energy to take form. The creative 3 energy needs somewhere to focus, something to hone in on and take root.

If you have a desire or  idea, and you keep it in the back of your mind and all you do with it is think:

…it can’t be done

…I’m not ready

…this is too hard

…I don’t have the money to do this…

then you are dissipating the energy of the idea, making it impossible before it can even become possible.

The Four of Spades is necessary in order for your idea/desire to take root and become a part of your life.

Your desire becomes a focus of that particular frequency.

Once your foundation and focus is set up, then along comes the next step – we move to the 5 energy. We need change to keep us moving forward.

The downside of the 4 is in getting stuck, complacent and living in our comfy little rut.

Once we feel secure and solid (4 energy) we can become stubborn and refuse to change, expand or grow. Or, we become so focused on maintaining that stability, that we won’t allow anything new to come into our lives – which would help us to expand and grow.

We need the non-stable energies in our lives so we can stop living in reaction mode.

Think about something in your life that happens and you feel as if it was done to you  and you react. Maybe it is a family member who hits your buttons, or something in your job that keeps throwing you off, or a behavior that keeps showing up in a relationship that annoys you.  Do you just continue to react, or do you stop and realize that it is YOUR choice and you can create a different situation?

Have you excepted these situations as your foundation? (Just how things are?) or do you use this focus that the Spades represents to choose an alternative way of being that is a happier, healthy foundation for you?

When you see the Spades suit symbol, see it as that point that you direct – the energy you have 100% control over. Where are you directing it? Are you creating the foundation for your dreams and goals?

We all love to be safe, secure and stable (well…except those who are fives!), but life isn’t meant to be constant. As it is said, the only constant is change.

“We want to introduce this concept of change, even with this four because that is what it is to be focusing in a frequency. It is taking it to a point, and just when you hone in on that point, it changes again. That is what it is to be outside of time.”

In the Age of Omniscience, we are learning to live outside the limitations of time. We are also understanding that with each thing we want and experience, it is merely a focusing of frequency.

In this Age of Omniscience, that is what soul growth is!

Do you fear or dislike change? Is there an area of your life where you feel shaky or unstable? If you have a dream or goal, do you build a stable foundation for it by directing your energy?

The King Of Clubs – The Master Of Knowledge

How do you feel about your ability to communicate?

My post today is about the King of Clubs. This card is about mastering our ability (and responsibility) to stand up, take a leadership position and communicate (either through writing, speaking or any other communication field) important knowledge & truth.

King_clubs_mind

I had a dream the night before I drew this card. I looked out my window and saw a huge full moon. Then I saw a large white goose flying into the moon. Then it turned and I noticed that it wasn’t one goose, but five – they were all connected and they started flying at me. I thought they would fly right in my window, but right before they reached me they flew up.

In looking up the meaning of the goose, I realized how similar it is to the meaning of the King of Clubs card.

Geese and their patterns in migration reminds us that as any one of us makes our “quest” (our search of truth) it becomes easier for others.

Geese have powerful voices and great physical strength to endure the migrations. They are quiet as goslings, then break free to come into their own. In mythology, Mother Goose’s fairy tales and stories stirred our imaginations. It is within these childhood stories that we can be imprinted in how we perceive life. The stories and myths of our culture, as well as the types of stories we were drawn to as kids had a role to play in what we end up doing in life.goose_leader

Our imaginations take us places through oral and written stories, letting us explore other physical locales, other realms and other ways of BEing.

The role of the King of Clubs is to be an authority in the area of their ‘truth.’  They seem to have a direct connection to knowledge and they don’t live by someone else’s philosophy – they live by theirs.

There are many ways a King of Clubs can pass on their knowledge – it isn’t always by being a teacher or writer. Their instrument for sharing comes in many forms, but one thing is for sure – they have a huge responsibility to share and to share in integrity.

One of the resources of a King of Clubs is their precise mental distinction.

Nothing can be out of place or off within their minds and what they are doing, or they will feel off, out of sorts or unstable.

Think about being someone whose very core is this quest for the truth – what transformations they must undergo! Because you can’t be constantly seeking and not run into knowledge that cuts you to the core.

Do they grasp and change due to everything they discover? No…and that is when and where they get in trouble, because they instinctively know they must, but they don’t always make the transformation.

Back to my dream of the geese – there were five of them. Five is the number of change. We must get out of our ruts, out of our mental prisons. Like a person with OCD who is trapped because something is not 100% as it should be, a state of constant exactness can hurt us.

The geese were flying into the Full moon. The full moon is the time when our intentions have either been fulfilled, or we realize it wasn’t what we really wanted and we must let go. It can be the struggle between the head and the heart – between intuition and our rational mind.

On the Solar Spread (what I call The Map), The King of Clubs sits at Uranus and Uranus. This is the ultimate spot of the development of individuality, transcending cultural and societal programming; living outside of the status quo and sometimes our comfort zone. Ignorance is not bliss for the King of Clubs. Our search for the truth must lead us to living as our authentic selves.

The Master of Knowledge (the King of Clubs) represents that place where we are living from the Mind (not the brain or our intellect) but from that place where we are connected to a higher perspective, sharing through compassion and leading with integrity and responsibility. Much success is gained when we come from this place.

Do you have the King of Clubs in your Birth or Ruling card spread?

If so, where? Wherever he is, he brings the desire to know; to master that knowledge and to pass it along as a responsible leader and to be an authority in that area.

For example, my dear 2 of Clubs friend has the King of Clubs as her Mercury card (all 2 of Clubs people do) – thus her mental life is all about mastering her knowledge in the field she loves. She is working on her PhD right now and I’m betting she’ll never really be done with school and learning.

Do you have the King of Clubs in your forecast this year?

He will act as a gift – bringing you the energy of being able to communicate and lead within your area of expertise.

What Planetary period is he in?

If you draw this card when using the cards as divination tool, ask yourself these questions:

  1. What is my confidence level with my communication abilities?
  2. What advice do I continue to receive, yet refuse to follow?
  3. What is it costing me and others by refusing to communicate effectively?
  4. What confining habits or ways of thinking are blocking my communications?
  5. Where can I apply my current knowledge to become a better communicator?
  6. What has to happen to make the information I want to communicate more understandable?
  7. Am I willing to take a leadership position in my area of expertise?

8 Reasons To Awaken Your Venus

It’s February! We know what that means, right? The stores are exploding in red and pink and we are either dreading that middle of the month date, or trying to come up with a plan…valentine-602744_1280

Whether we avoid, hate or love Valentine’s day, are single, married or it’s complicated, there is one topic that all of us are always focused on and that is our relationships.

That brings me to the topic of the planet Venus.

I’m going to be exploring the planet of love, beauty and art all month – and how she can help us with our relationships. All relationships – with ourselves, our friends, our family, co-workers and yes, even our lovers and spouses.

What about our relationship with our creativity? And with our fans/followers as a Creative? Yep, that too.

painting-63186_640The reason I’m discussing the planet of Venus is because she is all about what we love, what we are attracted to, how we relate to others, what brings us joy and what turns us on.

Knowing our soul stats (I call all of the information that astrology, numerology and the cards gives us, our soul stats) – and in this case our Venus stats- (our Venus cards/sign and house) helps us not only with our relationships, but also with our creativity. She is what inspires us and what helps us attract those things we desire into our life.

We each have a Venus card in our birth card spread. That card lets us know more about ourselves in the area of love, attraction, our sociability, what gives us pleasure, what brings us joy and how we connect (or don’t connect) to all the people in our lives.

Relationships, our sensuality, our attraction, how we see beauty and art and all the feminine/receptive aspects of who we are is covered under Venus. We can learn a lot from her about ourselves and those we love by understanding and utilizing our Venus stats.

Instead of dreading this month, why not use it to discover more about yourself and those you love – how to relate to them better and how to enjoy your life more, because when you are enjoying life, more joy comes to you!

How connected are you to your Venus?

Are your passions lying under the weight of familial expectations?

Do you embrace what lights you up – or go along with the projections placed on you by those you love?

Our Venus is there to help us be authentic. To truly understand and embrace that which lets us shine.

8_reasons_to_awaken_your_venus

There is a lot that She can help us with.

Here are 8 reason why you should awaken your Venus:

  1. Understand, own and embrace your true beauty and genuinely let it show
  2. Magnetizing yourself so you attract your true desires
